One week have passed, i went for my attachment. It was a different experience and i guess at certain point of our lives we definately have to change a new environment to learn new things and meet new ppl. For me, i thank God for the opportunity to go for this attachment, carrying with me so little confidence because I know that I might not meet some patients needs. However, with God in control, I thank God that each day my day seems meaningful, interesting and I got help when needed. Indeed, it was not as scarry as what some have mentioned, probably is yet to come but at least it's not on the first day. For 3 mths, everyday is like a challenge to me e.g. "the EN ask me to challenge myself to take parameters within 30 mins for 8 patients" and whether anot i could survive in nursing. I hope to pass and i'm not expecting any high grades coz i noe my capabilities. However, what I expect myself of this 3 mths is to be a need to the patients and give my best to them just like how I give my best to Jesus. It's tiring, but thank God for strength! :) Thank God for some of the ENs and ANs tat made my day glad with their warmth greetings and some of them who share with me. I agree, if you have a interest for this job, it will not be stressful. :) I live with this as my mission statement now. haha.. In Addition, i missed my classmates!
Today, i went back to my Sec Sch for Homecoming, not much of my class turned up, I didn't felt like going too. Coz i'm tired! haha i need my beauty sleep! Met up with Pat angd go tgt. Finally, we got back our testimonial and O lvl cert! If not for the cert, i think i probably wouldn't have gone. However, it was also good to meet up with some teachers, most of them left. oh well, expected. Ate free lunch [not bad] haha and then chit chat with some teachers. haha they didn't expect me to be in nursing. haha maybe to them i don't look like as if i would want to be a nurse. Met some old classmates, everyone looks different teacher couldn't regconised us. Watch some performances after which I went off with Pat to our separate ways. I headed to YF for tracting! :)
